THE SCHOLARSHIP
- 1, 2, 3, 4 year scholarships available
for students accepted to, or currently attending any accredited professional school
of:
- MEDICINE (allopathic or osteopathic)
- DENTISTRY
- OPTOMETRY
- VETERINARY MEDICINE
- CLINICAL
PSYCHOLOGY (Ph.D.)
SCHOLARSHIP
FEATURES
- Provides
100% full tuition and fees paid directly to the school
- A generous monthly stipend of over $1,300 electronically
deposited in your checking account
(cost
of living increases each July)
- Reimbursement
direct to student for all required books,
supplies,
expenses
- Training annually with full pay and

as a Commissioned Officer (2nd Lieutenant)

ELIGIBILITY
- 18 - 36 years of age (older with a waiver)
- Accepted into or currently attending a professional
program*
- Must
meet Army height and weight standards
- Pass
a military medical physical exam
- Meet
commissioning requirements
- *
Students who have not yet received a letter of acceptance to a professional
school may apply for the scholarship if:
- They have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
- And an MCAT
of 29 or 19 Academic Average on DAT
- These are Automatic Acceptance

APPLICATION
PROCESS

- A health care recruiter will meet with you to explain the program and
application process in detail
- You will be scheduled for a physical
exam
- You will complete
Army application forms
- Write a motivational essay (1-page only)
- Provide
additional documents: birth certificate, test scores, etc.
- Provide 5 professional/academic
references
- Complete an Interview
- Accept a commission as a 2nd
Lieutenant
OBLIGATION
- One for One scholarship and service
ratio
- 4 year scholarship equals 4 years of service; 3 year scholarship
equals 3 years of service etc…
- Medical
service is in an Army Hospital after your residency
- Dental service is in an Army Hospital or Army Dental
Clinic after you graduate
