Weekly Status
The purpose of the group project is to develop a design document for redesigning Professor Jeff Sonstein's 4004-737 Website Design & Technology course webiste. The design document would be based on the webmonkey Information Architecture tutorial.
Update for Week 6:

- As per the discussed design scenarios, color themes were browsed from kuler
- Wireframes and mockups were created, tested and iterated
- Axure software was used to make wireframes and mockups
- The final design documented was presented to the class on Wednesday 25th Jan, 2012
- The design looked good in the class and the team thanked each other by having pancakes and coffee :D
Update for Week 5:

- Group meetings were held to discuss about the design document
- The webmonkey tutorial site being down, already taken print outs were shared
- Each person in the team contributed his and her design ideas and shared different aspects of the webmonkey tutorial
- The team progressed towards making a constant web-based prototype for the Design Document
- Each team member was asked to handle one responsibility as per his/her skills and interests
- A basic layout of the site was formed and everyone worked on their individual parts to pull up the site
- Each shared his/her work in the end and meetings were held to refine/improvise wherever needed
- Keen thoughts were given to the personas, audience requirements and goals
- Finally after much brainstromed ideas a final design for the site was structured

- Readings assigned to everyone in the group
- Web Monkey tutorials to be read by everyone
- Everyone comes up with a design idea for the course website and brainstroms
- Reading and finalizing about Personas, Design decisions and workflows
- Brainstorming ideas about IE stuff and whether to exclude it because it doesn't support HTML5
- Team will meet this weekend to start with actual design document and finalize on the content and personas

- Group talked about each other's interests, passions and strengths
- Decided on everybody's roles in the group
- Interactions and group hangouts
