Non Classic Sets |
The
Classic Mandelbrot Set of, say the Mandelbrot map: F(z) = z2 + c; is generated in the complex plane of parameters c, starting the iterations of F at the critical point z0 = 0 of this map. The natural questions to ask are: How does this set look if one starts at another point? and What do these new sets mean? In here you will be able to explore these Mandelbrot Type Sets, for both, the Mandelbrot Map and the Logistic Map. The applets will let you toggle between Mandelbrot Type and Julia Sets. You can click at any point on the Mandelbrot Set to select a parameter for generating a Julia Set. Or on n a Julia Set, you can click on any point to select a starting point or seed point for a Mandelbrot Type Set. So, what are you waiting to start your journey into discovery...? |
| MANDELBROT TYPE |
|
| The Classic Mandelbrot set is
very well studied. But, little is known about Mandelbrot
Type Sets. Thus, most of the properties you may discover
will be new. Embark in this fascinating enterprise of exploring and discovering these sets. May be someday there will be a Mandelbrot Type set that will bear your name. |
