The first image that will be generated is the Classic Mandelbrot Set. The initial or seed point will be the critical, that is will have 0.5 as real part and 0.0 as imaginary part. To start the process, click on START. As before, you can zoom in by clicking on a point of the image. Now, however you can toggle between Mandelbrot Type and Julia Sets, as explained below. After zooming into a Mandelbrot Type Set, you can click the JULIA button to change to Julia Sets and select a parameter by clicking on the Mandelbrot Type Set image being displayed. While a Julia set is being processed, at the bottom of the canvas the value of the parameter is displayed in red letters, real part on the left, imaginary part on the right. After zooming into a Julia Set, you can click the MANDEL button to change to Mandelbrot Type Sets and select a seed point by clicking on the Julia Set image being displayed. While a Mandelbrot Type Set is being processed, at the bottom of the canvas the value of the seed point is displayed in blue letters, real part on the left, imaginary part on the right. At any time you can RESET and start over. Have a lot of fun...! |
