Problem Set Requirements

1. Staple all pages together in the upper left corner.
   
   
2. Write your section day in the upper right corner near your name.
   
   
3. Write the number of the problem set near the top of the page.
   
   
4. Show problems in the order assigned.
   
   
5. If you tear your pages out of a spiral bound notebook, cut off the ragged edges.
   
   

6. Box your answers.

   
   
7. Use paper approximately 8.5 by 11 inches (21.2 by 27.6 cm) in size.
   
   
8. Include units and at least 3 significant figures in all your answers.
   
   

In addition, for full credit:

You must explain your answer to any qualitative question.

You must show your method to receive full credit for all numerical exercises and problems. This must include (at least) the following:
• the formula/equation you will use, in symbols;
• the same formula/equation with the numbers substituted in place of the symbols;
• the final answer with the correct units and significant figures.
