Standard Toilet vs. Urinal

To start, the urinal is a specialized toilet designed for the male populace. Since the majority of males prefer to urinate standing up, the urinal is a popular choice in public bathrooms. A urinal is raised off the ground to accommodate a standing man’s height/posture and the handle has also been raised. Another notable feature is that this prevents users from splashing toilet water on to the seat of the standard sit-down toilet. However, a urinal specialization is also its downfall.

A standard toilet is useful in all situations of excretion. No matter the reason for the user needing to use the bathroom, a toilet can suit their needs. A toilet’s functionality features a seat to sit down on that can also be lifted. The toilet is also handicap accessible, unlike the urinal which requires a user to have the ability to stand.

In the end, if you are male who needs to quickly urinate then the urinal is your best option but a toilet will also suffice. However, if you require more than a urinal than the toilet is your go to option.
