MEETING NOTES by Sharon Bloemendaal
March: The Grand Man of GRAFLEX
Long-time TPHS member Theron (Tim) Holden will speak on March 16 about the history of Graflex. Known to many as "Mr. Graflex", Tim worked there for many years and has more knowledge of the company and its products than anyone. He'll show slides of the company's operations from the days when they produced the Graphics, for decades the standard-issue camera for press photographers worldwide.
Bring your own Graflex cameras to show and tell. NOTE: This will be our first meeting to be held in the upstairs community room at Barnes & Noble in Pittsford. The address is 3349 Monroe Ave. in Pittsford Plaza, east of Wegmans. (For us old-timers, it's the former B. Forman Co. building)
The
May 18, Sept. 21 and Nov. 16 meetings will be held at Barnes &
Noble in Pittsford Plaza. This is a new venue for us and should worlk
out very well.
