Organizations

US Army- (2007-present) RIT Army ROTC advanced course cadet,  responsible for company level (~60 cadets) program planning and execution. Received extensive leadership training in order to achieve goal of commissioning as 2^nd Lt. Spent 3 weeks in Slovakia (2009) as part of special Army envoy, training with Slovak cadets, learning language and culture. Hold a valid Secret level clearance.

Green Vehicle Team- (2009) Team member during short design cycle. Developed and fabricated a chassis and drivetrain solution for an electric vehicle with integrated wind turbine.

FIRST Robotics- (2004-2007) Team Captain for three years. Managed workflow planning, mechanical design, and materials acquisition. Won Delphi "Driving Tomorrow's Technology" award (2007), and personal submission secured Woody Flowers award (2007).

Corry Contract Inc., Corry, PA  (June-August 2009)

Designed and expanded new sheet metal office furniture product lines using SolidEdge ST. Quickly updated product designs to fulfill changing customer expectations and constraints. Designed complete elements of a new desk line in accordance with customer feedback. Desk set is now a successful product line for the company.

Corry Manufacturing Company, Corry, PA  (May- August 2008)

Worked as an engineering intern in the field of aerospace manufacturing. Designed and modified fixtures and dies using UGS NX 4. Additionally, revised and redrew plant blueprints, and assisted design of CNC machine room.

Worked as Information Systems assistant repairing computers, installing software, writing VBasic applications, and managing hardware inventory.
