My name is Aaron Schultz. I am currently a student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, majoring in Game Design & Development. I have been programming for over 4 years, dabbling in Visual Basic, Java, C++, and PHP, before settling upon C#. I enjoy the technical challenges and interactive results of game development, and spend the majority of my free time developing personal projects or researching gaming-related algorithms.

education

  • Rochester Institute of Technology - Game Design & Development
  • 2007 – 2011 (Expected)
  • GPA 4.0 (4.0)

An undergrad at RIT, I have worked through a curriculumn that balances a strong technical core with art and design. Short 10-week quarters and group-based projects have provided a wealth of experience with project and team management, while also requiring extremely rapid development of fully functioning demos. Though much work thus far has been focused on C#/XNA development or rapid-prototyping with Flash and ActionScript 3, I am transitioning into C++ and DirectX for future productions.
