I'm Eric C. Nystrom, an Associate Professor in the History Department at the Rochester Institute of Technology. My research focus is the history of American technology, especially late 19th and early 20th century mining. I am also interested in Public History and the use of open-source digital tools for historical analysis.
On this site you will find my abbreviated CV, and an outline of my research, as well as some electronic resources potentially of interest to others studying the history of technology or mining history. More information is posted on my blog. Please feel free to contact me.
