  • 1001-340 General Ecology I team-teach General Ecology with Paul Shipman, a herpetologist.
  • 1001-370 Biological Writing A technical writing course designed for biology students to learn to write original research papers, grant proposals, review papers, and other forms of biological writing
  • 1001-420 Plant Ecology A project-based course where students get first-hand research experience in plant ecology
  • 1001-475 Conservation Biology An applied ecology/conservation biology course that includes weekly discussions of student-selected current research papers
  • 1006-701 Environmental Problem Solving Graduate-level course designed to assist graduate students in aspects of thesis preparation

I also mentor students in independent study, research, and the Department's Research Scholars Program. If you are interested in research in my lab, feel free to contact me for more information.
