Program Description: Participants perform laboratory experiments under the direction of a departmental faculty member. In some cases, data obtained will be included in a published research paper with the student listed as co-author.

Eligibility: Preference will be given to rising juniors and seniors. Applicants must have completed 1 year of biology or organic chemistry, and students contemplating a career in biochemical research are preferred.

Stipend: $2,500. Students are responsible for obtaining their own housing.
