Full-Time Employment Position
Amgen
Thousand Oaks, CA
(near Los Angeles, CA)
I received the following email on January 7, 2000 from Shane Kurowski (a Biotech grad now working at Amgen) that describes an Open Position at Amgen. If you are interested in applying, I suggest that you get in touch with Shane as soon as possible. Shane's email is shanek@amgen.com, and his phone number at Amgen is 805-447-2927.
Hi Dr. Frederick!
Hope all is well with you and everyone else in the department. I figured you would be the best person to send this to since you probably still have some strong ties with others in the biotech world. My department is looking to expand, and we are searching for someone to fill the position listed below. We hope to have it filled by the end of this month. It is exactly the same work that I currently do, so if someone was interested and had questions they can either email me or call me at 805-447-2927. Having a BS in Biotechnology is fine, but the person needs to have industry experience (e.g., co-op).
