Subject: Many job openings at Biogen!!!

Hello All,

Just a quick update on my whereabouts, I have been wotking at Biogen in Boston for a little over a year after leaving Genentech in San Francisco. I'm working as a Manufacturing Associate in Biogens Clinical Manufacturing Plant. I really enjoy Boston but I miss the West Coast(without the blackouts). I've been working through the industrial side of Bio-Tech for about three years and I have really enjoyed myself being able to learn new things every day along being able to apply everything I learned at RIT. That's not a plug, it's the truth.

From my viewpoint of the job market and the industry, manufacturing positions are in such demand right now and opportunities abound in many areas. It's an excellent opportunity to get a foot in the door at some of the worlds best Bio-Tech companies. That of course is my opinion, but what I know for a fact, is that at my company BIOGEN, the company as a whole is looking for people, but especially the Manufacturing departments are looking for plenty of people, especially recent College Grads. The lab I work for in Cambridge Mass. is hiring a few people, but BIOGEN has a new plant down in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, which has MANY job openings available

The company is a great place to work with many growth opportunities as well as Tuition Reimbursement. I know there are plenty of extremly qualified RIT Students and Alumnis who if they need a hand with a foot in the door, have them contact me or check out the BIOGEN web page which has Job Postings as well.
