The organizations that have already updated their sites for 2012, or offer opportunities on an annual basis are indicated by a (2012) after the co-op link. You are welcome to check the details for those organizations that have not, as of yet, updated for 2012 as the details for 2012 will likely be similar to that currently given for 2011.

This website lists opportunities from the larger Co-op/Internship and Summer Research Opportunities in the Life Sciences website that are offered by private, for-profit companies in the Life Sciences. Often these companies offer opportunities year-round, usually pay more than most non-profit organizations and universities, and have less "restrictions" on eligibility. However, some of the positions offered by these organizations are routine in nature, although still related to life sciences.

In addition to the valuable experience and good pay that a Co-op or Internship will give you, very many of the Opportunities listed on this website also provide Travel Reimbursement, Housing and Meals. So, don't let concerns about living expenses or the location of an organization posted on this website prevent you from checking out an exciting and challenging Co-op or Internship position!!
