  • Western Upstate Representative for the National Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography 1997-2003).
  • Chairs the Ultrasound Program Advisory Board.
  • Advisor for the RIT's Ultrasound Student Association.
  • Alpha Sigma Lambda Honorary Society Mentor Award- Several years.
  • A site visitor (inspects ultrasound programs nationwide) of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (January 1995 - Present).
  • Developed, envisioned, and designed a student affairs division within a university as part of “Administration of Student Affairs” course.
  • Developed and designed a four year program in ultrasound as part of my master thesis:
    - Presented new courses not previously addressed by ultrasound programs
    - Included recommendations on how to improve the sonographer's training
    - Currently, this program is being implemented at my university
  • Obtained a 5-year accreditation for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at Rochester Institute of Technology (on-going).
  • Graduated with high honors from Rochester Institute of Technology.
  • Certified as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Abdomen, Small Parts,  Obstetrics, and Gynecology.
  • Developed homepages for the Ultrasound Program and Department of Medical Sciences at Rochester Institute of Technology.
  • Developed an ultrasound computer program utilizing current multimedia tools for students in the Cross-Sectional Anatomy course.
