Prof. Perkins is the sole illustrator for the "Robbins and Cotran" series of pathology texts, published by Elsevier Saunders. This includes: Robbins and Cotran Pathologic Basis of Disease, Robbins Basic Pathology, Pocket Companion to Robbins and Cotran Pathologic Basis of Disease, and Pathologic Basis of Veterinary Disease.
He is also a member of a three-person team that continues the work of the late Dr. Frank H, Netter, regarded by some as the greatest medical illustrator of the 20th century.
