NoWhine Data Mart development project was completed in a team of three people. The goal of this project was to develop a data mart of millions of rows. The data provided was inconsistent, dirty, and duplcate. Thus, we cleaned the data using the SAS programming tool and then the ETL method was used. Thereafter, the data was loaded into the data mart using SQL Loader. Emphasis was given on slowly changing dimensions in the data and date format (including holidays).

The data mart will cover the performance measures of purchase orders of wine cases by NoWhine Distributors. This data mart also helps in finding rapport between the suppliers and NoWhine Distributors. It will also help in building relationships with suppliers (CRM).
