Grading Criteria

      
 
Your final grade will consist of the three midterm exams quizzes, and homework assignments. Quizzes will be given every Tuesday at the beginning of class except for those Tuesdays that follow an exam. Quizzes may not be made up for any reason. There are 7 scheduled quizzes and the two lowest grades will be dropped.

  Final grades are calculated according to the following distribution:
 
A =
90 - 100% =
630 - 700 pts
        
 
B =
80 - 89% =
560 - 629 pts
        
 
C =
65 - 79% =
455 - 559 pts
        
 
D =
50 - 64% =
350 - 454 pts
        
 
F =
<50% =
<350 pts
