I am hiring both Post Doctoral and GSRA!

I currently have one Post Doctoral and one Graduate Student Research Assistantship.  Both positions involve the Future Generation Solar Cells Project funded by the Department of Energy.

Self-motivated and enthusiastic post-graduate and graduate students in the fields of Applied Physics, Micro/Nano Electronics  and Materials Science are encouraged to apply.  Please submit your Resume or CV, Transcripts, and GRE (or SAT/ACT) results to Seth Hubbard.  In addition, graduate  students should submit a brief (2-3 paragraph) essay describing why you are considering graduate research in this field.

The research projects available involve applications of nanostructures (e.g. quantum wires and dots, carbon nanotubes) in photvoltaics, electronic devices and gas/chemical sensors.  Familiarity with basic solid state electronics and fabrication techniques is a plus.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions!
