Text: S. Krantz, Real Analysis and Foundations, 2nd ed.
Warning: This course is different from other math courses you have taken. You will be expected to
think a lot about harder problems and to create proofs.

Policies:
I will assign homework every week. We will talk about the solutions usually on Fridays.
You will be encouraged to present some of your solutions.
We will have two midterms, which will be in-class written exams from the assigned homework problems.
The date of the midterms: 10/02, 10/30.
The final exam is a cumulative in-class written exam at the end of the quarter.
Total Grade: Midterms 60%, Final Exam 40%.
