Welcome to Room 3086!
A Web Design midterm final project by Alex Grant
This humble college dorm room, located in Computer Science House on the third floor of Nathaniel Rochester Hall, has been my home for the past year. Over the months, it has accumulated quite a lot of interesting objects and curiosities. And now it's open to you! Use the menu on the left to explore the most interesting facets of room 3086.
What's new?
There have been some changes to Room 3086 since the initial version of this site! Look for these "What's New" boxes on each page to read about any interesting post-midterm developments. Also, check out the Final Updates page in the menu, which describes changes made to the site itself.
But Alex, why would you create an entire web site about your dorm room?
Well... the requirements did state that we could interpret "a place that you've lived" as loosely as we wanted. This is definitely a place that I've lived (and still live in!), and I thought it might be fun to create an entire web site focused on such a small place. Yes, it's primarily tongue-in-cheek, but that only makes it more interesting to read, right?
