Hunter S. Thompson is widely known for his book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, which was later adapted into a film in which Johnny Depp played him. He'd taken copious amount of various drugs and loved weapons. In 2005 he committed suicide at the age of 67 while battling a series of health problems.
