Drama

Drama is an odd genre. Unlike most it is not a cookie cutter category, every drama movie tends to fit into another genre. It's almost a subg-genre, but it is significant. Dramas tell a tale; sometimes the plot is run by love, an adventure, or every day life. But the tale it spins is what makes a movie dramatic. With a tale generally comes a lesson, so pay attention because you might learn something while enjoying your movie! Some wonderful examples are The Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, or the more recent Pride and Glory.
