Hanging Bathroom Shower Caddy

Affordances:

• To keep stuff in the shelves of the caddy

Visibility:

• This shower caddy is made of stainless steel. If the bathroom color happens to be a similar one and if the rack is empty the chances are that the caddy would not be visible to people with defective vision or if one gets up at midnight and walks in while he is still half asleep

Coloring:

• Majority of the hanging shower caddies are available in stainless steel and there isn’t much to choice about color.

Flexibility and efficiency of use:

• This caddy is very efficient for small bathrooms which have space crunch
• Useful when people share bathroom and have too much stuff to be kept in the bathroom
• As the caddy can be hung right over the shower or on the same rod as shower curtain it is very accessible during bath
• However, things keep falling of the shelf due to minimal support

Constraints:

• Not good for big bottles of shampoo or body wash as they tend to tilt the caddy itself

Design Critique:

• The product is useful for small bathrooms or shared bathrooms where the number of bath products are overwhelming
• Coloring can be improved
• Shelf size or support system can be increased
