Lao New Year Tradition

We celebrate Lao New Year every year in april. It's a very unique tradition of Lao people. It is a fun festival for everyone and it is last for three days. Lao New Year is the time for cleansing. Water is used as a symbol for rinsing all the bad things in the past year. It is the only time where people can use water to wash budda statues.
