Course Objectives and Policies

Course Objectives:

STUDENT PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES: At the completion of this course, the students will be able to:
  1. Use and compare various strategies and software options for making PDF files.
  2. Use Adobe Acrobat to prepare files for print and non-print output specifications.
  3. Use Adobe Acrobat to exchange, edit, annotate, and modify files.
  4. Use Adobe Acrobat to establish hyperlinks within a PDF file for interactive media purposes.
  5. Use Adobe Acrobat to add forms data fields to a PDF file.


Course Prequisites: 0855-253, 0855-255,  0855-256

Grading Policy:

  1. Quality of Work: 85%
    Includes products produced, level of supervision required, organization and neatness of your work.
  2. Responsibility: 5%
    Includes attitude, homework, use of materials, clean-up, following directions, keeping a neat notebook, and coming to class with your notebook and the tools and materials necessary to do your work.
  3. Meeting Deadlines:
    One letter grade will be lost each week your project is overdue.
  4. Tests: 10%
