So you wanted to know a little more? Alright, I'll go a bit more in depth than I did on the Home Page. For starters, I'm a 20yo Game Design and Development student from smalltown Copake, NY. I've always had a passion for games dating back to when I was very young. I was always fascinated with them and the stories they told. I wanted to make games that would bring others the same emotions that I would grow for the games, their characters, and their stories. The best example of this that I can remember is the ending of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
*SPOILER ALERT* (just in case)
When Edward walks down to the docks to meet his daughter, he passes the table where he imagines all the friends he lost having drinks and laughing with each other. I'll be honest, I cried. It was the equivalent to those scenes in movies that always force someone to tears. I was so immersed while playing the game that I felt like I could have actually known these people, and it was upsetting yet comforting to see them there at the table. I witnessed this cut-scene in my Senior Year of High School before I came to RIT, and it's why I had no doubts that this was the field of study I wanted to apply for.
