If you're not Professor Sean Boyle or TA Potato (♥) not much for you to see here.

If you are, please give me an A you may be interested in these things. Or not. I'm pretty boring.

Overly long bio

my face

I am, first and foremost, a coder. I think. Honestly, it can be hard to tell; am I a coder because I love it, or because I've been doing it for so long that it's all I remember. Maybe a combination of the two; I may have been doing this long enough for Stockholm Syndrom to take effect. Who knows?

What I hope to learn in this class is the basics, at least, of HTML; I've taught myself a fair amount, but I always find myself learning cool new things when someone actually teaches me to do things.

Aside from being addicted to really into coding, I'm also an EMT, twice over (working on paperwork to get the third). With any luck, I'll be able to join RITA this semester, or maybe next. I also ski -- in fact, I'm part of the National Ski Patrol.

Overall, there're two things I hope to get out of my time at RIT: Organization and knowledge. The first is the more important to me; I've pretty successfully taught myself quite a few things, and gotten a co-op based all but entirely on knowledge I had coming in to RIT, or that I learned on my own while here. However, RIT's been teaching me the hard way to get and keep myself organized. Of course, there are also things I don't know, obviously -- I've yet to touch any really low-level stuff, or play with OpenGL, or write a physics engine, and here at RIT I can do all that with someone to look over my shoulder and explain what I'm doing wrong.

When I graduate, I want to be lined up for a job right off the bat. I've had decent success so far, so here's hoping I can keep that going. Honestly, given the quality of RIT's education so far, I don't see that being difficult.
