Women in Engineering

A problem that is not just my concern but a national one, is the low number of women in the field of computer engineering. In the CE department at RIT I work towards increasing retention and satisfaction of women students, while improving our outreach activities. A series of luncheons run through the academic year, facilitating peer-to-peer mentoring relationships, contact with industry, and creating a meeting place for the women in our department.

Women in CE Luncheon Series

We had our last luncheon of the 2016/2017 academic year on May 8th, more to come after the summer! Invitations to this luncheon series are sent to the Women in CE mailing list. If for some reason you are not included and you would like to be, please contact me!
