What Matters Most?

"Seek First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all else shall be given to you as well."

Matthew, 6:33

"Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the Truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter in it".
Luke, 18:16-17

My Greatest Joy

My precious daughter Eliza Francesca is by far the greatest joy of my life. Every single moment I spend with Eliza is a precious moment that I treasure infinitely and that I would not trade for anything under the sun. By the Grace of God, Eliza is very bright and always keeps me  busy with lots of questions and thousands of requests for various sports activities. Eliza's mom, though an engineer, just happens to be very good at taking nice photographs of her daughter, like the one she took when Eliza was "playing" the piano at church. I am always amazed by the variety of things that capture Eliza's attention, and it is my greatest joy to watch her explore the world. As Jesus says in Luke 18, 16-18, you can never enter the Kingdom of God if you do not adopt that sense of wonder that characterizes wonderful beings like my little Eliza.

It is an amazing blessing to be a father and a servant of God. I am grateful to God for the opportunity He has given me to witness the miraculous unfolding of another soul. I feel the amazing of God in so many aspects of my life. I have witnessed the blessings of God in my life daughter's life so many times that I cannot could. Being a father has strengthened my faith in God and my journey with Christ. Although life brings us a host of challenges on a regular basis, I have been fortunate to stay grounded and at peace through the strength I draw from my daily walk with Christ. I have come to realize and fully accept that "I am the Beloved and Blessed Son of The Mightiest and most Loving Heavenly Father". I know viscerally as the Apostle Paul tells us in Philipians 4:13 that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Whatever the challenge, I am fully equipped to handle it and to triumph.
